Spent Christmas at this hotel and loved the festive atmosphere. the decorations were beautiful and really put us in the holiday spirit. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the complimentary hot chocolate and cookies in the lobby, a nice touch for the holiday season.
There were a few disappointing aspects. the sound insulation in the rooms was terrible, we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms and the hallway.

The pool and jacuzzi were very nice. Location is ok, just a 10 minutes walk into the city center.
We got a room next to the reception....so very noisy! Rooms look a bit old...could use a revision...

I chose this place because it had a separate bedroom for my children and it said it had a pull out sofa. The sofa was a twin so my husband and I couldn't sleep on it. It was just an ordinary hotel. There was nothing special about it. It was not bad, but not great. It was quite loud from the other rooms and the hot tubs weren't all working. We wanted a pool and the pool was very cold to swim in. It was just okay.
It was very loud and hard to sleep. The sofa bed was a twin so two people could not sleep on it. We booked it because we thought it was a double sofa bed. We ended up having to sleep in with our kids, which is what we did not want to do. It was just an okay hotel. I probably would not stay there again.

The front desk staff were friendly and genuinely helpful. The kitchenette in the room was reasonably equipped. The linens were of nice quality and we loved the hotel duvets. Free parking was a bonus! The hotel was located at a convenient distance from the main street, making it quiet yet still within walking distance. The beds had newer mattresses and were super comfortable. The staff was cheery and attentive. We enjoyed the history information in the lobby and the unexpected entertainment.
Nothing, it is perfect.

Even though the building was packed and lots of stuff going on outside I was able to sleep easily. Sound does not carry thru the walls too bad like some hotels
I had a hard time trying to connect to the internet, but it could of been my computer, was no parking available but that is expected with jasper.

The staff were very friendly and the room accomidated our needs to travel with our families
We found a large bug in one of the beds, and the beds smelled old, and like urine. The room was not well airconditioned and once the door to the bedroom was closed the front part was very hot.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds that ensured a good night's sleep. I also liked the mid-century vibe of the hotel, which added a unique touch to the overall aesthetic. Despite the lack of air conditioning in the room, the fans provided kept the temperature bearable.

Relaxed, easily accessible, quick walk to downtown, convenient to walking paths, parking. We had a kitchenette and that gave the added convenience of being able to have meals when and what we wanted. It was great!
The hotel is definitely in need of an upgrade,it is looking shabby. Carpets are worn, cupboards need painting and appliances are old but in mostly working order. One burner on our stove was not working well. Kitchen utensils were generally good although the potato peeler broke. We had two adjoining suites and what one suite didn't have the other did so we made do. Example we had a frying pan but the other room didn't. We were short cutlery and the other room had a few extras so we split them evenly, although there was not a full compliment for both rooms. Overall, it was a great place to stay, just don't expect 5 star decor!

Overpriced (compared to others in area) and not what i believed the booking to have been quoted at. Staff very unhelpful. Problems with other guests trying to get into our room in middle of night.

Spacious rooms for 5 with comfy beds. Helpful staff and quick restocking. Convenient location near restaurants and shops. Pool for kids, hot tub for adults.

The staff at reception could not find our booking. After much head scratching and dissappearing into the back office the realised they had checked someone else into our room. They gave us a room on the first floor but the first floor is actually a basement. It smelt musty and the view was of car hub caps. Very expensive for this sub standard room.

Comfortable beds. Quiet location
Food was pretty average. Breakfast food could have been fresher and although the dinner menu looked good, there was inconsistency between courses. Starter was excellent (crabcake salad) but bison meatloaf main course was very dry and had probably been reheated several times. Similarly the stuffed pork tenderloin was dry.

Clean room with good temperature control. Great location close to events and downtown.- On-site amenities such as a lounge, pool, and hot tub.
Lack of air conditioning was a major inconvenience, especially during hot weather. Noise from other guests in the hallways disrupted sleep.

Very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant.
Two of the hot tubs weren't working properly. Noisy neighbors...sometimes.

I stayed at the Lobstick Lodge primarily for its location within the Canadian Rockies. It certainly did not disappoint, the hotel is comfortable with good facilities but the fact that it in the middle of one of the worlds most beautiful national parks is its ace in the hole!!
The only negative I have to add is that I was unable (due to work committments) to stay longer!!
